Name: Swiftstar
Age: 48 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Leader
Personality: Swiftstar is very easygoing, and rarely gets her ruffled for any reason. She prefers to avoid fights, and hates to begin wars, but that doesn't mean she won't. She believes in fighting for what is rightfully hers or the Clans, and it would be a very desperate situation for ThunderClan if she ever gave up. This she-cat is known for her stubborness, and won't change her mind unless countered with good reason, but the ability to listen is neccessary for all Leaders in my opinion. She can be a bit lazy, and will put off something (usually) if she can.
Many believe Swiftstar is brave and outgoing, but she doesn't see herself that way. She believes she's quiet when it comes to speaking her opinion, and 'outgoing'? A word she would never use to describe herself. In fact, she can be a bit nervous when it comes to standing up for herself; but that all changes when you talk about her Clan. She would defend ThunderClan's reputation to the death, as well as the reputation of it's members. She isn't very tolerant of prey-stealing, but she won't blame whoever comes to mind first. She prefers to bide her time, and even though it occasionally angers her less-patient Clanmates, Swiftstar knows what she's doing.
To a newcomer, the ThunderClan Leader would come off as distant and maybe a little cold. But in all reality, Swiftstar would give anything for her Clan and Clanmates, and maybe, if the conditions were right, another Clan. She is proud, and tends to try to do everything herself, which can cause problems when she refuses much-needed help. But, as I stated before, she can be convinced to listen to reason.
Swiftstar always needs time by herself, and becomes irritable if she stays where she doesn't want to for too long. She's usually pure-hearted and will do what she sees as right, and may be willing to go out of her way to help someone. She doesn't tolerate acts of evil or violence, and can seem a bit harsh when adminstering punishments, but it is only because she doesn't want it to happen again, especially if it may endanger innocent cats' lives.
To sum it all up, Swiftstar is a loyal Leader who only wants to do whats best for her Clan, just as any good Leader should. She seem cold or unreasonable, but no one's
perfect. Many look to her for guidance and support, and she does her best to keep the peace; she is truly a cat worthy of the title Leader of ThunderClan.
Description: A beautiful, sleek black and white she-cat. Her coat is the color of a raven's feathers, and is always well-groomed, while her underside is the color of new-fallen snow. She has no white on her face, but it curves up under her chin, almost making a complete circle around her neck. She has white stockings that go up to the middle of her leg, and the tip of her tail is white as well. Her eyes are a very light mint green, and if the light hits them just right, they seem almost white.
She's a bit small for a ThunderClan cat, only about one-third the size of a normal Clan cat, but she makes up for that in her intelligence and speed. Her face isn't as rounded as some other cats', which makes her look more alert. Her ears come up to a beautifully sharp tip, and have a few white hairs inside of them (but she's not old). Her bright white whiskers stand out like a sore thumb against her dark face. Her nose is the same dark shade as her fur, so it's barely visible. Her eyes are the typical almound shape, but they seem almost completely circular because you can only see the iris.
Her body is slim, but well-muscled, as are her legs. She's an excellent jumper, and is known for her mid-air tatics. She's not very wide, and doesn't even take up three-fourths of her nest. Her paws are gracefully rounded, and very well-balanced, meaning she hardly ever slips. Her tail is your average length, but due to her small size, it looks a bit long for her.
History: Swiftstar was different from the day she was kitted. She was named after a past cat, one that was dear to her parents, but she turned out to be completely different from her namesake, who had been energetic and fiery-tempered. As she grew, she showed more promise than any other kit, and cats began to realize that her name wasn't 'Swift' for the quickness of her paws- it was for the quickness of her mind and heart. She listened to her mentor's every word, and learned, not only from his teachings, but also from others' mistakes. Unlike every other young, defiant, headstrong cat, Swiftstar preferred to be calm and obediant, although she did sometimes disagree with the older warriors. She spent a lot of time alone, sort of 'enlightening' herself, learning about what she had and what she wished for. One thing she didn't have to discover- she was going to be the ThunderClan Leader, even if it took most of her life. Don't be fooled though; she would never have gone to such devious lengths as others had in the past- others such as Tigerstar.
So, Swiftstar took up being the best she possibly could, doing what seemed impossible to others, such as fighting off a badger single-pawed (don't worry; she didn't go looking for it). After a few more moons, a disasterous event happened- the deputy fell in battle. Swiftstar hadn't been expecting to be chosen so soon, and felt a little more nervous than she'd have liked as her Clanmates' gazes warmed her pelt. As most deputies are, she was caught off-guard by the amount of responsability the deputy must take on, and was irritable for the first few months of her term. But she soon settled down into a calm, responsible state of mind, and became her usual self once more. She was deputy for a course of seven moons before her Leader met his end, and she took over. Once more, she was a bit unnerved by the even bigger amount of responsibility she now had to have, but she recovered faster than she had the first time, and has been ruling peacefully ever since.
Role-Play Example: Swiftstar tossed and turned in her nest, having awoken for the third time that night. She was sleepless, although clueless why; after all, she hadn't had a good sleep in almost a moon. Sighing, she rolled over once again before eventually closing her light green eyes and falling into a light, fitful sleep. It was less than twenty minutes later, however, that she awoke again. Snarling irritably, frustrtated at her failed attempts to rest, she rose from her nest and padded outside, the cold, before-dawn air instantly knocking any drowsiness out of the black-and-white she-cat's body. She walked over to the center of the camp, and flopped down. It wouldn't be too long before the rest of the Clan was up and the dawn patrol left; Swiftstar could already see the shades of pink and purple as the sun rose into the sky. A sense of calmness flooded over her as she stared up at the fading stars of Silverpelt, as it always did when she looked toward her ancestors. That feeling was interuppted, however, by a freezing wind blazing through the leader's pelt. She didn't shiver, but, she faintly understood how a cat from another Clan could think that wind chilled the hearts of ShadowClan cats. Suddenly, a voice came from the warriors' den, and she rose to her snow-white paws. It was time for the day to begin.
